Olivia and Friends Child Care and Development Center, LLC is not just a typical child care business. We are a solution for working parents who are seeking a high-quality program for ages 6 weeks up to age 5, an elevated level of care and cleanliness, early learning and development opportunities for their children to assist them in meeting early milestones and preparing them for pre-k standards (or even test into K), and a friendly and familiar environment for their child to grow up in.
We are always looking for new and innovative ways to offer more for our kids and their families. By providing early education curriculum through play-based learning, your children will not just receive top-notch care, but will be more than ready for Preschool and Kindergarten. Our parents benefit too. We check in daily throughout the day with tons of photos and information via our parent app and group messaging. We also send home lots of fun arts and crafts and other projects our kids have been working hard on.
SERVICES OVERVIEW
Infant and Toddler Care
Daily child care for infants and toddlers is provided at our nursery. From ages 6 weeks up to age 1, your child will be surrounded by only children close to their age group and developmental stage of life. At this age, we are focused on maintaining your child's feeding schedule, providing diaper changes, working on helping your baby meet their milestones, and giving them bonding and socialization time needed for them to thrive.
Daily Meals and Nutrition
Infants will be fed on the families suggested feeding schedule. Families can choose to bring in their own formula, or we can provide formula if needed. If breast feeding, we have a private, quiet area where moms are welcome to pump at the nursery or breast feed and we can store milk on site in our fridge.
All of our kids in care over the age of 1 receive breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack included in their tuition.
Parent's are also welcome to pack lunches daily if their child has any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Preschool and Early Preschool
Ages 2-5 will attend our seperate preschool location. At age 2, your child will start in the early preschool classroom which will lightly introduce them to circle time routines, social and emotional development and very light learning activities.
Around age 3, and for age 4/5 that do not move on to pre-k yet, kids will be in our preschool classroom. Preschool will prepare all our kids for pre-k, and some of our kids have even tested into Kindergarten.
Family and Community Inclusion
Including families in our program is important to us. We have class parties where our families can volunteer, we send home a monthly newsletter and calendar to keep families up to date, and utilize our communication App daily to keep in touch in real-time with how your child is doing.
We also love partnering with, and showcasing other local small businesses in our community! From food truck days, to petting zoos and arts and crafts activities highlighting other businesses, we try to find ways to raise up our community and bring fun experiences to our kids!
Early Intervention
Assistance
We utilize our own in-house early childhood development evaluation and referral process for gauging each child’s progress and for finding opportunities for early intervention and additional family assistance.
We will never diagnose your child, but we will work with you to improve your childs social/emotional and learning experience in the classroom, and do anything we can to help you and your family find the proper resources available to you.
Innovative Technology and Supplies
We stay in the know. We strive to integrate the newest products and technology available to running a great child care program.
Parent's have easy access to their child's daily activities, can message their teacher's directly, and pay quickly and efficiently for care through our child care software, compatible with iPhone and Android.
We also utilize early education software in the classroom to allow our kids access to technology and every family receives an access code to continue their child's learning at home if they would like.
